find splash!
Splash! Wales operate from four locations along the Pembrokeshire coastline and, because surfing and paddle boarding each have their own ideal conditions, these may change day by day according to the wind, waves and weather.
[ Check your Splash! location on the day ]Splash! Wales will decide each morning, based on the wind strength and direction, the sea state and tide times, which of the alternate locations are going to provide the most enjoyable, and safest, conditions for either surfing or paddleboarding.
For this reason you must always call Splash! on 07971 271 673 after 8:30am on the day of your booking. . . to check that there is not a change of location.

Each of the dedicated locations listed above are within an easy 30 minutes drive of the most popular tourist destinations in Pembrokeshire, including; Haverfordwest, Milford Haven, Neyland, Pembroke, Tenby, Solva, Dale, Fishguard, Broad Haven, Little Haven, Saundersfoot, St Brides, St Ishmaels & Narberth.
The south west coast of Wales enjoys an 'oceanic' climate, characterised by mild year-round temperatures. While the weather can be unpredictable (Pembrokeshire is part of the UK after all!), summers are generally sunny and dry, with the warmest months being June to September. . . and the majority of rain falling in the winter months.
[ How warm are the coastal waters? ]Sea temperatures around the Pembrokeshire coast consistently hover around 15° or 16°C (59° to 61° Farenheit) during July, August, September. . . and, perhaps surprisingly, well into October.
Whilst most people would find this bearable (if a little chilly) for a quick dip or playing in the surf, spending extended time in the water, whether surfing or paddleboarding, will be far more comfortable in a wetsuit!
